As most of the goods to be transported for the on-board catering are stowed in trolleys and containers with castors, the vehicle is equipped with a security system safeguarding the trolleys against rolling away, tilting or skidding.

For loading and unloading the aircraft, the front part of the van body is equipped with a platform which can be extended and shifted laterally and which guarantees optimal security for the door and the outside skin of the aeroplane.

The vehicle is constructed in accordance with the regulations for public roads, the applicable German occupational health and safety regulations (BGV), the law for safety of appliances and the IATA, ANSI and SAE regulations, as well as EN 12312-2 (if applicable).
